AR summoning Mcat limited edition released

Korean startup Popsline said on March 14 that it had launched a service that allows users to view monkeys, cats, bears, and people in NFT digital files.

The company said that viewers can watch mages or videos using augmented reality (AR) without having to install an app.

Popsline said that it will develop a web AR NFT marketplace and operate its subsidiary Metaversero to target the global market.

“The NFT Marketplace is a tricky field to implement technology because it is necessary to install an application that requires dedicated resources on the user’s smartphone in order to experience augmented reality because the NFT Marketplace has to be accessible to consumers without installing an app due to the nature of the blockchain technology,” a Popsline official said.

“Metaversero’s web augmented reality-based NFT solves this problem and allows summoning monkeys, cats, bears, and people in digital files to 3D augmented reality through a web browser without installing or uninstalling the app. In addition, it is a method to easily deliver and view the augmented reality that they are viewing with a URL address to others.”

To commemorate this beta opening, a limited edition of 1,000 Mcat NFTs that summons one of the best art works of the Joseon Dynasty Mongyudowondo leaked to Japan during Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 with AR will be released.

By applying the C2E concept of making money while collecting NFT, a smart contract is applied that automatically mines 2 MVR tokens every day for 365 days just by purchasing and holding Mcat NFT.

Decisions are made with proposals and votes through DAO in Mcat project and the second project of a limited edition ‘Environmental Conservation’ NFT, a collaboration between MCAT and Hong Il-hwa, an artist based in France and working in Europe and Korea takes place.

Currently, there are approximately 110,000 users of the NFT community with Metaversero all around the world. For Opensea, anyone can minting NFT after signing up for a paid membership. As a result, unsavory cases of work from unknown sources or theft of other people’s copyrights are occurring one after another. For Metaversero, these problems can be solved by curating only the works of verified artists and applying the NFT method on them.

The participating artist “Dahye” has more than 125,000 young Instagram followers and there are more young artists within the project. The planning power and technology of the DAO Mcat series that applies web AR as well as the C2E method of ‘making money while collecting’ is applied and this would bring great attention in the global market and a success of NFT Marketplace in K-Art field.

XR artist Ahn Ji-hyeon who is in charge of the Mcat project said “With Metaversero, NFT goes beyond visible digital files and is a value that brings unique experiences and scarce benefits to NFT collectors by applying club membership and C2E.
